The RMPARBU/24-6 is an intelligent dual-battery sequential selector for Hawk 24V Ni-MH batteries, designed to maximise overall battery life in two-battery deployments. Unlike a simple Y-lead which draws from both batteries simultaneously, the RMPARBU/24-6 selects the battery with the lower state of charge first, discharging it preferentially before switching to the fuller battery. This sequential discharge regime significantly reduces cell imbalance between the two batteries, extending their combined service life and ensuring more predictable remaining runtime. LED indicators provide a continuous readout of which battery is active and each battery's relative charge state, giving operators accurate power management information without additional equipment.
