The Hawk IIA (RMBP64/24B) is a 24V Ni-MH smart battery with NSN 6130-99-961-3484. Operating from −30°C to +70°C, with AMPHENOL connectors, chemical-resistant nylon casing, built-in analytical computer, and the RMBC64/24 charger achieving flat-to-full in under 5 hours.
The Hawk IIA (RMBP64/24B) is a new generation of Ni-MH (Nickel Metal Hydride) battery. This unit is one of, if not the most advanced smart batteries in the world today. With its vast range of working temperatures −30°C to 70°C, these batteries can cover all areas of deployment from the Arctic through the Tropics. Both the outer and inside of the case have been treated with a special nylon coating which is resistant to most chemicals, including acid. A four-segment LED display shows the battery state of charge by a simple press of a button. A built-in analytical computer allows information to be downloaded from the battery at any time. All plugs and sockets are the Military AMPHENOL type and are totally waterproof, complete with dust caps. The purpose designed RMBC64/24 charging unit charges the battery in less than 5 hours, flat to full. A minimum of 600 recharge cycles can be achieved.
Operating from −30°C to +70°C, the Hawk IIA offers one of the widest temperature operating ranges of any 24V battery — covering Arctic to tropical environments without performance degradation.
A built-in analytical computer allows battery performance data to be downloaded at any time, enabling predictive maintenance, cycle tracking, and fleet readiness reporting.
Inner and outer surfaces treated with specialist nylon coating resistant to most chemicals including acids.
Four-segment LED display shows battery state of charge at a press of a button, giving operators an instant readiness check in the field.
Military AMPHENOL plugs and sockets, fully waterproof with dust caps, providing reliable ruggedised connectivity in all weather and operational conditions.
Minimum 600 full recharge cycles before cell change is required — delivering outstanding long-term cost-effectiveness compared to primary battery alternatives.
Catalogued under NSN 6130-99-961-3484, simplifying procurement through standard military supply chains and allied nation purchasing agreements.
Ni-MH chemistry means the Hawk IIA ships without dangerous goods classification, significantly reducing logistical burden and simplifying procurement through standard military supply chains.
Tested globally, this product covers every area of operations without performance compromise in any climatic zone.
Fully operational at −30°C without pre-warming, covering Arctic and high-altitude cold-weather operations where battery reliability is critical.
Delivers consistent performance at +70°C across desert and tropical environments, exceeding the heat tolerance of most comparable battery systems.
Waterproof AMPHENOL connectors with dust caps protect against moisture and particulates in all field conditions, from monsoon operations to desert environments.
Nylon-coated casing resistant to most chemicals including acid, enabling safe use and decontamination in CBRN-threat environments.
